Entrepreneur series is YouTube based and aims at bringing forth the 15 years of experience of Col Sanjay Pande and the internships and three year on-the-job learning by Shubhankar Chaudhary with Col Sanjay Pande.

The target audience is existing companies, start-ups, potential start-ups, students, proprietors and to put it simply, if you want to ‘earn’ this is a must read.

Episode-1 is about the Army career and the initial years in the civil world where adaptation was the key word. The baggage carried by the ex-army guys makes it very hard for them to adjust in the ‘second career’ which they expect to be a cake walk. Things are not only difficult but looking at the civil society with the military goggles throws up big challenges.

My one year effort to break and crush my ego, odd jobs, regular denial of well-earned money and complete disrespect for capabilities in corporate made me stronger. The five years after retirement up to 2011 were not only difficult, but could break most, not me.

With Rs 90,000.00 as the total money I had, I started my own company. 2012-2018, six years period had over Rs 10Cr turnover, I had seen over seven bankruptcy situations, relied on people, and finally decided to close the company in Oct 2018. I took my chances, Shubhankar joined in Oct 2018, and this is 2021, we are doing this series. This period was not without hiccups. Covid. It was boon in disguise, we became very strong, the people who could not adapt left the company and we were left with a very lean company, only muscles, only strength.

Episode – 1 is about my journey from 2006 to 2018 and in brief gives out 2018-2021. The series is about the great turnaround by the company.
